PLEASE INTRODUCE YOURSELF FOR US WHO DON'T KNOW YOU AND YOUR MUSIC AND TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF.
We are probably the hottest iron in terms of hard rock, in Winterthur (Switzerland) anyway. Not quite young anymore, but energetic like 20-year-olds. With our riff Hard Rock we have not reinvented the wheel, but still enjoyed a lot of rocker hearts. No-frills rock music with lots of guitar, beer and a lot of adrenaline. We all do a regular job, but in the evening we sit in our practice room and destroy one or the other beer and pluck a little on our sides.
TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR NEW ALBUM OR SINGLE?
Our new single "Forever Young" is a straightforward, typical Gloria Volt rock song with a good portion of wink. We sing about our beautiful but strict rocker life and our health problems. Only on stage we are "Forever Young"!
WHAT INSPIRED THE ALBUM OR SINGLE?
What can I say, it was time to do something new, so we recorded a few songs and they will be released as an EP in the near future.

WHICH RECORD HAS CHANGED YOUR LIFE AND WHY?
When «Appetite for Destruction » by Guns n Roses came out, I thought to myself, that's it now. There will never be anything better. But this record didn't change my life.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MUSIC VIDEO FILMED BY YOUR BAND OR ANOTHER ARTIST?
"Paradise City" is probably the best video ever made.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU DIDN'T MAKE MUSIC?
I would probably just drink. And maybe play a little monopoly.
DO YOU GET NERVOUS WHEN YOU PERFORM LIVE, IF SO, HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH IT?
A little nervousness certainly doesn't hurt, but honestly, one two beers and the nervousness has evaporated.
HOW DID YOU FOUND THE BAND?
We founded ourselves eleven years ago. We've all played in different bands before. From punk rock to pop rock and stonerpunk, everything was there. At some point these bands disbanded and some of the remaining ones concentrated fully on hard rock, so Gloria Volt.
HOW TO WRITE? - DO YOU HAVE AN IMPORTANT SONGWRITER, OR DO YOU ALL WORK TOGETHER?
Most of the time I or Pim Peter bring a guitar riff or song draft, which we then work on together. The lyrics come from my pen.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
The Hellacopters, one of the best bands of recent years. And beer. Beer always inspires.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Next up is our EP and then hopefully we'll play some good shows.
