The lead singer from French pop rock band chats about quarantine, The Beatles and being positive
PLEASE INTRODUCE YOURSELF FOR US WHO ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH YOU AND YOUR MUSIC AND TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF.
We are a french pop/rock band with a touch of electro sounds. It’s a long story of love, but to cut it short, we started to make music together at school, years ago. It began with concerts in our hometown for Vince (drummer of the band) and I (Lead-singer / Guitarist of the band). But we always wanted to tour everywhere. And this is where our 1st European tours arrived in our story… Before the US tour we were supposed to give in 2020.
TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR NEW ALBUM OR SINGLE?
Our latest release is our new pop/rock single “Escape”. Your readers should check it out because this song is talking about this world crisis we are going through, and the feelings we are experiencing. And I guess each and every one can identify with this song and find some echoes in it… Also, if you like pop/rock music you should listen to it.
WHAT INSPIRED THE ALBUM OR SINGLE?
For the last single, the story behind the song: The song was created during the quarantine, in the middle of the night. We wanted to express through music and this (homemade) video the struggle we are all living these days. For some people, it is a physical struggle, the fact of being locked up in small spaces.
For others, it’s a psychological fight. We all need to escape a bit the reality from time to time. Especially when daily life is getting complicated. This song reflects what we feel during this period.
Tough moments, good moments. But above all, we will never stop believing that there will be brighter days. We’re all together in the same boat. And sooner or later, we will all escape this rough time together.
CAN YOU SUM UP THE ALBUM IN A FEW WORDS?
The next album we will release will be called “For Tomorrow”, it will be a pop/rock one, and maybe our best work so far. The messages we want to deliver with this one are messages of benevolence, hope...things we do need more than anything these days.
WHAT RECORD CHANGED YOUR LIFE AND WHY?
I think that the song “Because” from The Beatles inspired me a lot.

WHAT WOULD WE FIND YOU DOING WHEN YOU'RE NOT MAKING MUSIC?
We do love travels a lot. When we have time between the tours, we love to discover new countries, cities… Also, at home we are really fond of movies & cinema, reading as well!
DO YOU GET NERVOUS PERFORMING LIVE, IF SO HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH THAT?
We are always a bit nervous before a show, but we try to breathe slowly, laugh together and concentrate to relax together.
HOW DID YOU FORM THE BAND?
At the age of 14 I asked Vince (drummer of the band) if he wanted to create a band. We were at school, he just said “yes, let’s do this” and so we started it.
HOW DO YOU WRITE?
I am the songwriter of the band. The songs I write can talk of a very simple moment in our daily life (one of our last single “Hope” has been written in front of a beautiful sunset in Spain, it was just a perfect and simple moment I wanted to share), and sometimes I go deeper in different emotions, to write about tough moments but also about the world we’re living in. The connection between people and technology in the daily life, the fact that taking the time to do things today is almost a dream, everything is about instant. We don’t properly take time anymore. But more recently, I write a lot about the future and our existence in this possible future, I want to write about benevolence and positive thoughts for tomorrow.

Everything can be an inspiration to me.
WHAT IS NEXT?
We are actually working on our next album (it will be released this year I think). And also re-scheduling our European tour and US tour for 2021
