Kenny: Hi. We are a band called Dig Two Graves. We make heavy music with some nice pretties.
TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR NEW ALBUM OR SINGLE?
Jaybee: We dropped a hot EP called Deathwish about a year ago. It slaps and hits totally different, you should all check it out, thank you.
Kenny: Nothing else needs to be said.
WHAT INSPIRED THE ALBUM OR SINGLE?
Kenny: Sad times.
CAN YOU SUM UP THE ALBUM IN A FEW WORDS?
Jaybee: Big dragon energy.
Kenny: Heavy, melodic, djenty, cool, nice
WHAT RECORD CHANGED YOUR LIFE AND WHY?
Jaybee: Bonito Generation by Kero Kero Bonito really changed the way I look at music, and life as a whole. I think I have a lot more fun in general, since I listened to that album.
Kenny: Infinity on High - Fall out Boy. Listened to it as a young lad right when it came out and forgot about it and the band for years. Somewhat recently rediscovered the album and the band. Gotta say, it’s even better than I remember.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE MUSIC VIDEO FILMED BY YOUR BAND OR ANOTHER ARTIST?
Jaybee: I like Forever by Story of Hope, it’s not very crazy or anything, but it’s got a lot of energy and it makes me really happy.
WHAT WOULD WE FIND YOU DOING WHEN YOU'RE NOT MAKING MUSIC?
Jaybee: I like watching anime, and snuggling with my soft kitty.
Kenny: Petting cats and drinking kombucha
DO YOU GET NERVOUS PERFORMING LIVE, IF SO HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH THAT?
Jaybee: I did the first couple times, but now it’s no big deal. I just get up there and have a good time. I do get a little nervous when we try out a new song live though, always a bit of a risk.
Kenny: Can’t say I have.
HOW DID YOU FORM THE BAND?
Kenny: Me and Josh both wanted to start a heavy project at the same time. Also, working is not fun.
Jaybee: I met Mike in a college philosophy class, and we found Jesse on Instagram.
HOW DO YOU WRITE? - DO YOU HAVE A KEY SONGWRITER, OR DO YOU ALL WORK TOGETHER?
Kenny: Josh writes everything instrumentally and we all add our own parts and eventually everything comes together
Jaybee: I write concept albums instrumentally, and then send the tracks to Mike and don’t tell him the story, and see what he comes up with.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Jaybee: Cute girls in sundresses.
Kenny: Making new music (josh can you finish writing that album )
WHAT IS NEXT?
Jaybee: We’re working on the next big hit album. We’re very excited with how it’s coming out.
