Hey there! We are NVision a modern rock band from Biloxi, MS! We have been making music together for almost a year now, and our vocalist, Alex, has been making music under the name NVision for almost four years. TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR NEW ALBUM OR SINGLE?
Our new single, The End, will release on March 12th. The interpretation has been different for every listener so far, so we are leaving that interpretation open. However, I will say this -- it is about struggling with releasing the things that hold you down.
The rest, is in your hands.
WHAT INSPIRED THE ALBUM OR SINGLE?
The End was written during a very tumultuous time for vocalist, Alex, and reflected back on a time when being alive was almost suffocating. The back in forth lyrics in the chorus reflect the war within. "If this is the end I swear I'll tear it all apart -- Or we can begin again erase it and restart."
All of us go through things in our life that we need to let go of, but aren't quite sure how to. But at the end of the day, even when it hurts, when we move past the things that hold us down, we are stronger and better for it.
CAN YOU SUM UP THE ALBUM IN A FEW WORDS?
Bold. Emotional. Daring.
WHAT RECORD CHANGED YOUR LIFE AND WHY?
Every band member has one of these, but I'm gonna go bold here and be the most un-hardcore I can possibly be and say it was Everybody by Logic. When I stumbled across Logic's music, everything I was writing at that time was very angry, very dark and very hopeless. However, when I heard 1-800-273-8255 and dug more into his music, it shaped the way I wrote in the future.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE MUSIC VIDEO FILMED BY YOUR BAND
OR ANOTHER ARTIST?
I think our favorite video overall has been Show Stopper. We all dressed
up really fancy and were graciously allowed to film in a $600,000 home on the market for sale. It was HOT that day (we nearly passed out) but we all had a good time with the band and the people who showed up to help. Check out more behind the scenes and an

DO YOU GET NERVOUS PERFORMING LIVE, IF SO HOW DO YOU DEAL
WITH THAT?
Personally (Alex), I stopped getting nervous a long time ago. I don't know how to describe it, but it's almost as if I separate myself from who I am when I get on stage. I often feel like I'm not really myself unless I'm on stage.
HOW DID YOU FORM THE BAND?
Nate was working with his former band, Jupiter Pilot, and liked my
energy as a solo artist and wanted to help. He joined on drums and the obvious decision was to form what was originally a solo act into a band. We wrote She Said, and then went on to recruit the help of Kevin Smith (guitar) and later Phil Collins on bass.
HOW DO YOU WRITE? - DO YOU HAVE A KEY SONGWRITER, OR DO YOU ALL WORK TOGETHER?
Everything written so far has been largely the work of vocalist, Alex, but 2021 will seek to bring the band together in co-writing. We typically come up with a demo for a song, come up with the idea we want to write about and then slowly hone that in until we have a perfect product. A key element to our song writing has also been the mind of producer, Zack Keel (www.theflwrshp.com) out of Metairie, LA.

Life.
WHAT IS NEXT?
We are currently gearing up to go on a few weekend tours with Gandhi's Gun the first week of March. The second week of march, we are releasing our new single. And we will continue to hit different states once a month for the rest of the year.
