LUCID AFTERLIFE TALK ABOUT THEIR LATEST RELEASE 'DECENDANT'

TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR NEW SINGLE This is more of a summoning then a song. Years ago the message came to me, I showed the guys and we came up with this. It’s two stories mixed into one journey.

LISTEN HERE

HOW DID YOU GO ABOUT THE SONGWRITING PROCESS? The words and melody have been sitting in my head for years and when I showed Thom he had some great ideas that turned into the guitar parts. I see this more of a cinematic experience than a musical, we arranged the parts in Mexico City at YoX studio and recorded it all in a day. WHAT INSPIRED THE SINGLE Clairvoyance and magic, and most of all the moment WHO ARE YOUR BIGGEST INFLUENCES? Anyone working outside the box, willing to break the rules. Breaking the rules is a major theme of the single WHAT RECORD CHANGED YOUR LIFE? Heaven & Hell by Black Sabbath really showed me how you can have amazing along with quality storytelling. Dio and Iommi are both big inspirations to me. WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING IF YOU DIDN'T MAKE MUSIC? Ceremonies in the woods to bring upon the new age of wisdom and understanding. fasting, meditating and of course, playing tons of video games

WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECORD ONE OF YOUR SONGS, AND WHICH ONE? Would be really cool to do a remix with Daft Punk. HOW DID YOU FORM THE BAND?

Many great people have come and gone, and maybe they will come back it’s been a more of a pirate ship of changing influence than a core creative structure. I formed the idea of Lucid AfterLife in 2012 WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO ANYONE STARTING OUT? Don’t listen to anything but your heart WHAT IS NEXT? More living fully within the eternal presence.
