TELL US ABOUT YOUR NEW ALBUM/ PROJECT?
Our latest project was our new single ‘Now I’m Gone.’ This song holds a special place in our hearts as it is the first single since Vocalist and Guitarist Alex Jennings joined the band. ‘Now I’m Gone’ is our heaviest song to date and is definitely one of our favourite songs to play live!
WHAT INSPIRED ANY CENTRAL THEMES ON THE SONG?
The song is inspired by a general theme of betrayal in which we have all experienced in relationships, friendships,etc. ‘Now I’m Gone’ focuses on how you should focus on yourself within these situations as you are the only person that will be with you throughout your entire life. Sometimes it is for the best to walk away from certain people, hence the title of the song, even if it feels hard at the time. That is just my interpretation of the song anyway.
HOW LONG DID YOU SPEND RECORDING?
We spent about a month on the track all told (e.g writing, recording demos, final recording, mixing/etc.)
HOW DID YOU GO ABOUT THE SONGWRITING PROCESS?
Dec came up with the riffs for the song and a basic melody for the chorus. From there he recorded a basic demo of the song and effectively just said to me ‘show me what you can do.’ About 90% of what you hear is what happened as a result of that conversation.

HOW DID YOU FORM THE BAND?
The band formed as 4 mates playing covers in a garage. From there the band switched around a few members and began releasing music. It has just grown from there.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO ANYONE STARTING OUT?
Do what you enjoy! Get yourself with like-minded people and do what you think is best!
WHAT IS NEXT?
Lots of touring and lots of new music! We are so excited to tell everybody about what we have planned, we just aren’t allowed right now !
