2018 Critical Praise "Great line-up, good vibes, green space... Ramblin' Man Fair is a classic rock lover's happy place." - Classic Rock Magazine “Ramblin’ Man Fair Transforms Mote Park each year into its own raunchy turn off Route 66” - Planet Rock Magazine "The highlight of the rock music calendar that sees the best genres of music come together in perfect 'southern harmony'.” - Powerplay Magazine “As always, the Prog stage at Ramblin’ Man played host to a varied and compelling line-up, from the impossibly glamorous Goldray to explosive Finnish maestros the Von Hertzen Brothers. Topping it all was the legendary Fish, lots of songs from Clutching At Straws, and not a dry eye in the house. And, unlike some festivals, there were no queues at the bar.” - Prog Magazine "A laid-back and most enjoyable rock festival." - Record Collector Magazine “Long live Ramblin’ Man Fair” - Johnnie Walker BBC Radio 2 Rock Show
Following on from the critically acclaimed and commercially successful fourth year in 2018, Ramblin’ Man Fair returns in 2019! This year the festival will move back its traditional end of July slot on the 19th, 20th and 21st July. Kenny Wayne Shepherd (Outlaw Country Stage Headliner) - There are few artists whose names are synonymous with one instrument and how it's played in service to an entire genre. Utter the phrase "young country blues rock guitarist" within earshot of anyone with even a cursory knowledge of the modern musical vanguard and the first name they are most likely to respond with will be Kenny Wayne Shepherd. The Louisiana born axeman and songsmith has sold millions of albums while throwing singles into the Top 10, shining a light on the rich blues of the past and forging ahead with his own modern twist on a classic sound he has embodied since his teens. Ramblin’ Man Fair are thrilled to welcome back Kenny Wayne Shepherd to headline this years Outlaw Country Stage.
