Single Release: 25th August 2017

The Rah's are a 5 piece indie rock band from Prestonpans, a small seaside town on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The band was formed in 2011 by four friends Jack, Jordan, Neale and Andrew and produced 2 EPs ‘Give Me Life’ in 2012 and ‘Living The Dream’ in 2013.

The band toured both EPs across their native Scotland to rave reviews supporting the likes of The Fratellis and The View along the way.

By the end of 2014 The Rah's started to experiment with new sounds and taking a fresh approach to their song writing drawing on all their musical influences everything from Jimi Hendrix to Arctic Monkeys to the Stones and The Beatles.

In January 2016, local lad and friend Chris joined as the band on keys and backing vocals, taking The Rah's a fresh new sound. Now a 5 piece, the band took a fresh approach to new sounds and song structure, leading to the band’s single ‘Sweet Talker’ recorded with producer Roni Szpakowski at Peak Studio's, Bradford in early 2017. The single was released late March via the bands new independent label, EH32RECORDS and was well received by the music press across the UK and Ireland gaining a wave of excitement.

Off the back of the single release the band embarked on a mini UK tour over a 6 week period with a sell-out homecoming gig in their native in Edinburgh as their last show on the tour.

They are now back with their new single ‘The Time Is Now’, a serious attitude track that grips you from the very first note. The track was recorded in Maybank studios in Glasgow by Dublin based producer James Darkin and was mastered by a Pete Maher.
