Following on from the critically acclaimed and commercially successful second year in 2016, Ramblin’ Man Fair returns in 2017. Rambling Man Fair is pleased to announce the first bands confirmed for the event in 2017. These include ZZ Top (Main Stage Headliner / UK Festival exclusive), Monster Truck, Jared James Nichols, Kansas (Prog in the Park Stage Headliner), Magnum, Joanne Shaw Taylor (Blues Stage Headliner), The Quireboys (performing an exclusive Blues set), Big Boy Bloater and Dan Baird & Homemade Sin (Outlaw Country Stage). Ramblin’ Man Fair is the must see event for discerning festival goers. A quality musical line up with a number of UK exclusive performances. The event is a unique experience fast becoming a staple of the UK festival calendar. The festival will take place in the beautiful Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent – the garden of England. The park is one of the largest in South East England with more than 450 acres of mature parkland and a 30-acre lake. With multiple travel links via train (Ashford International, Maidstone East and Maidstone West in close proximity) and road (with three park and rides available around Maidstone). The festival site is also perfect for European festival goers with easy links to the London airports, Eurostar via Ashford Int’l and Channel Ferries to and from mainland Europe. The festival will remain split into four stages over two days. Stages announced so far include Mainstage, Prog In the Park Stage, Outlaw Country Stage and Blues Stage. New for 2017 is a Guest stage unique to next year’s event more details of which will emerge in a later release.Announced acts to date are:

ZZ Top (Mainstage, HEADLINE) – ZZ Top are one of rock music’s most recognisable and well-loved acts. Formed in Texas in 1969, the band have kept their classic lineup of Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbons and Frank Beard for over 45 years. Since their debut album in 1971 the band have gone on to sell over 50 million albums and become a much-loved touring act. Inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004 the bands 1983 “Eliminator” album has sold over 10 million copies alone and delivered hits such as “Gimme All Your Lovin”, “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Legs”. Ramblin Man fair 2017 are hugely excited to have ZZ Top headlining the main stage as a 2017 UK Festival exclusive performance. Kansas (Prog In The Park Stage, HEADLINE) – Hailing from Topeka (KS), Kansas are a multi-platinum selling rock band. Formed in 1970 the band shoot to fame on the AOR charts. Kansas have gone on to release single hits such as "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind”. Over four decades, the band has released eight gold albums, three multi-platinum albums, one platinum live album and a million-selling single: "Dust in the Wind". Along with a 200 weeks’ appearance on the USA Billboard chart throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Kansas have conquered North America, Europe and Japan as a live act, performing to sold-out arenas and stadiums audiences. The single "Carry On Wayward Son" has been covered by the likes of Dream Theater and off-the-cuff live versions by Foo Fighters. Joanne Shaw Taylor (Blues Stage, HEADLINE) - British blues rock guitarist and singer Joanne Shaw Taylor was discovered by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics at the age of 16. Since then Joanne has released five studio albums, including her second album “Diamonds In The Dirt” which peaked in the Top 10 of the US Billboard Blues Chart and her brand new studio album “Wild”, recorded in Nashville's Grand Victor Studios and produced by Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith). In 2010 and 2011 Joanne won the Best Female Vocalist at the British Blues Awards, in addition to the Songwriter of the Year award in 2011. After hearing her play lead guitar with Annie Lennox’s band at the Diamond Jubilee Concert, the legend Stevie Wonder said he loved her “clean, bluesy, understated tone”. Monster Truck (Mainstage) - Monster Truck is a four-piece band from Ontario Canada who broke onto the hard rock scene back in 2009. The band saw their rise to fame in their home country back in 2011 with the release of The Brown EP and have been expanding their influence ever since. Their single Seven Seas Blues hit the top 10 charts in the USA for both alternative and active airplay charts back in the spring of 2012. Since 2013, the group has been touring the world on their and as support to acts including Alice in Chains and Nickelback. Raised on the songs of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, the band’s sound has been described as “thrashing rock ‘n’ roll” with southern rock influences. Their latest album, Sittin’ Heavy boasts the band's mantra that “rock ’n’ roll might save your life.” Magnum (Prog In The Park Stage) – Formed in Birmingham in 1972 by Tony Clarkin (Guitars) and Bob Catley (Vocals), Magnum remain a much-loved UK live act. The bands real breakthrough came with the iconic 1985 “On A Storytellers Night” album. The bands success continued through the 80’s with the Roger Taylor produced (Vigilante (1986), Wings Of Heaven (A UK Top 5 in 1988 that featured three Top 40 singles) and Goodnight (1990). The band split in 1995 but reformed in 2001 and have released several critically acclaimed albums since. The Quireboys (Blues Stage) – UK rock five piece The Quireboys remain one of the UK’s enduring rock acts. Formed in 1984 the band exploded onto the worldwide scene with their debut album “A Bit Of What You Fancy” and singles such as “Hey You” and “7 O’clock”. The band have toured with The Rolling Stones and Guns N’ Roses, and have recently released critically acclaimed album “Twisted Love”. E band will be playing a special Blues set.
