STEVE YOUNG ANNOUNCES UK TOUR

STEVE YOUNG ANNOUNCES UK TOUR Released XMAS Gift Pack allowing fans to hear his new single In My Dreams / Garden Of Love a month ahead of everyone one. All details here,

A singer/songwriter & globe trotting session guitarist. After years on the road with Darren Hayes (Savage Garden) and Ramin Karimloo (Broadgrass band, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera), he has finally released his own blend of Acoustic Country/Pop & Blues.

Recent performances include Bob Harris ‘Under The Apple Tree’ support for Nashville star – Carlene Carter, UK Blues singer – Jo Harman, Time Out London’s - Rising Stars of UK Country, The Union Chapel London, Islington Assembly Rooms, London C2C Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe, Rhythms Of The World and local events. His live sets have enthused his ever growing fan base. His music has been aired by Bob Harris (BBC Radio 2) Tony Fisher (BBC Radio Essex), BBC Radio Kent as well as BBC Radio 4, BBC 6 Music + Local & Worldwide international online & FM stations. With a new single, Garden Of Love / In My Dreams, scheduled for an early January release to coincide with his Caffe Nero tour, Steve has been getting sentimental in the build-up to Christmas. As he prepares for the festive season, he has unveiled the moving 'Anywhere This Christmas', of which he says: I originally wrote 'Anywhere This Christmas’ to release as a charity single for Help For Heroes in 2014. The video that went with it was very funny and consisted of fans filming themselves singing along, Essentially it’s about those who work away from home at Christmas time. People in the Forces, the service industry or like myself, a solo troubadour on a ship in the North Sea keeping people entertained while they endure the 17 hour trip from Newcastle to Amsterdam (endure probably not the right word considering the amount of Alcohol and suspicious tobacco concerned). It's also a direct reflection on the life of a travelling musician who wanders from city to city, constantly surrounded by strangers and only able to connect home via Wifi and FaceTime - the loneliness that follows the euphoria of a gig or concert. Xmas is something that brings families together, regardless of the consumer explosion that now surrounds it, it is still a time of togetherness and for making that extra effort for those that are special to you…..
