ELLE EXXE RELEASES NEW VIDEO FOR 'LATELY'

LOVE FUELLED HATE DEBUT ALBUM RELEASED SEPTEMBER 9th ELLE EXXE’S LIVE ‘EXXTRAVAGANZZA’ THE OLD QUEENS HEAD, LONDON – JULY 6th Elle Exxe has unveiled her tongue-in-cheek video for new single ‘Lately’. The video premiered with Gay Times who said, “We’ve always been a fan of Elle Exxe… The kick-ass, electro clash starlet is back with her amazing new video for ‘Lately’.” Not one to conform to the usual overtly sexualised stereotype of your average pop star, Elle Exxe gets lessons in how to work the camera by her very own, magnificently bearded, drag queen impersonator in the ‘Lately’ video.

‘Lately’ is the first single to be taken from Elle Exxe’s upcoming debut album Love Fuelled Hate, released on September 9th. Exploring the concept of love’s transition to hate, the album journeys through a gloriously twisted tale of flirtatious glamour and irresistible lust into the seedy depths of adulterous behaviour and its dramatic conclusion. Extravagant and adventurous, it’s an invitation into the exuberantly animated world of Elle Exxe, which has already captured the hearts, minds and critical praise of The Guardian, Popjustice, The Quietus, Gay Times and many more besides. Elle Exxe has been championed by BBC Introducing, Kiss FM and also flown high in Music Week and Amazing Radio charts. Now making big strides across the Atlantic, she’s been played on over 100 radio stations in North America alone, achieving big CMJ distinctions and chart success. She has also just returned from the taste-making Canadian Music Week, where she played four shows in Toronto. From intimate beginnings at 229, London, Elle Exxe has now gone on to play sold out shows across the capital, her Scottish homeland and Canada, while topping 2015 with the biggest headline show of her career at London’s KOKO as part of Club NME. In celebration of the ‘Lately’ release, Elle Exxe will be playing a live ‘Exxtravaganzza’ at The Old Queens Head, London on July 6th. The headline show will be an invitation into the fabulously exuberant mind of the starlet, an explosion of colour and magnificent surprises. Tickets are available for free exclusively through Ticket Web. The electro-clash starlet is also set to play The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City festivals in May as she gives England its first taste of Love Fuelled Hate live.
