Philippa Hanna Confirms Massive Tour, New Album & Global Adventure
2016 looks set to be a memorable year for UK artist Philippa Hanna. The Sheffield based singer/songwriter has been invited to open an almost-sold-out tour for Leona Lewis starting on February 21st. Having already toured with acts including Lionel Richie, Wet Wet Wet, Rebecca Ferguson and Collabro, Philippa believes ‘this could be the best tour yet’. Legendary voice coach Brett Manning connected Philippa and Leona via Skype in 2015 at the end of her singing lesson.
Fans on the tour will be treated to a preview of her upcoming single Arrow which is due for release on March 11th whilst sampling other new songs from her upcoming studio album. The album which includes the iTunes chart-topping single Even Now has been recorded with producer Kyle Lee in Nashville and will be out on April 29th. After many months of speculation and being awarded the prestigious Music For Export Growth grant from UK Trade & Investment / BPI, Philippa will be setting sail for Nashville this summer to establish her career stateside. The move will be indefinite giving her the chance to build on successes as a writer after achieving cuts for acts including multi-million selling Natalie Grant. With eager interest from leading labels and publishers in Tennessee, the US market is within the reach of the Barnsley-born singer.
