SASHA MCVEIGH TOUR

Sasha McVeigh, a British Country singer who is currently making big waves on both sides of the big pond. Having released her debut album I Stand Alone last month, she is the only British act to have ever been signed by WME Nashville and the only British act and unsigned act to grace the main stage of five of the main Country festivals in the States over one summer. Taste of Country, BBC Unsigned, Maverick, Chris Country and The Boot have also tipped her as the name to watch.

From singing in the shopping trolley when she was 2, to singing all over the United States and UK, British Country singer/songwriter Sasha McVeigh says music is her life. Sasha garnered a love of Country music from her father who used to "dance me around the living room to CMT when I was just 18 months old." With a strong passion and ear for music she began playing keyboard at age 10 and writing songs in the years that followed: "Songwriting is extremely important to me, I cherish every song I write because each one is so personal; they're like rhyming diary entries." As well as keyboard, Sasha plays acoustic guitar, but you certainly wouldn't be able to tell that she's only been playing for just three years and recently added the banjo to her repertoire of instruments. Having completed two headline tours of the US and the same of the UK, Sasha finally unveiled her debut album 'I Stand Alone' in June. With the album met by critical applause on both sides of the big pond, Sasha was invited to perform an Under The Apple Tree session for Bob Harris. After sharing the stage with The Band Perry and Hunter Hayes over the summer, Sasha is excited to be bringing her Nashville friends The Cains Trio to the UK to accompany her as special guests on her homecoming circuit.
